RE: Jayco

I have the 30BHDS and my brother in law has the 31 BHDS. We both love the size and space in them. A couple little minor problems we too care of our self. Good luck with yours and have alot of fun with it.

RE: Power jack blew fuse/melted wires

If you have a ultra fab call the company. Tell them what it did and how to fix it. They might replace the unit or tell you the wire gauge and fuse you need. My jack broke and I called them up and had a new one in three days. I switched the jacks and called them again. UPS came and picked up the old one.

RE: rocking

I put a third set of scissor jacks in front of the wheels and it helped alot. I also put the Bal stabilizing bars on the four corners. I have no movement from front to back just alittle side to side. I waiting to pick up another set of Bal stabilizing bars to stop the side to side movement. The Bal are about 70.00 a pair, while the JT strongarm are 330.00 for 6 bars and camping world

RE: Tonneau Cover Impact on MPG

Check Ebay. I have bought my last two off of it and had no problem with them. The one I have now is a tru-sport roll up one. No water gets in and I can roll it up to the cab for bikes and un roll it after I unload them. The one I have now cost me 225.00 that included shipping. Watch the prices and shipping.

RE: What does this switch do?

See if there is a outlet up by the top of your awning. A friend of mine has a switch like that and it control a outlet up ther for awning lights. Her camper is a crossroads

RE: Wayne's rv stabilizer

I use two of them. One in front of the tires and the other behind. That stopped alot of the bouncing and movement in the trailer.

RE: Hooking up a Camping Grill

Extend a flow. This is what I use with my roadtrip grill and propane stove. It comes with the adapter that connects between the regulator and bottle and a 12 foot hose. this way the camper still has use of the bottle if needed. I use a splitter off of the 12 foot hose to two 4 foot hose to my grill and stove

RE: Are the plastic slide protectors worth it?

They are a pain to get started. I have to start to bring the room in, then push them under the lip. I have to put weight on the the slider farthest away from the switch and step on the one nearest the switch. If I don't the room will push it out about a foot before it catches. I don't see any diffence using them or not but also it is a new camper. Duane

RE: TT keys all the same???

Locks are only to keep honest people out. It is true. The compartment locks are all the same no matter what brand you have. The lock on the door is different.I have been camping over ten years and have no problem of things being taken. I work part time as security at a campground and the only thing we had happen is kids taken people beer coolers, but there is always one bad apple in a thousand in the camping community
